These terms govern your use of the SiteCreds mobile application ("the App"), operated by Gridmark Technologies Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), registered in England and Wales. Registered address: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.

By downloading or using SiteCreds, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

SiteCreds is a free qualification wallet and career evidence app. It allows you to store qualification card photos, log work hours, capture portfolio evidence, and generate PDF reports. All data is stored locally on your device.

2. Your Account

SiteCreds does not require an account. You may optionally enter a display name and trade during onboarding. This information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us.

3. Your Data

You own all data you enter into SiteCreds. We do not collect, access, or store your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You are responsible for backing up your own data. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently lost. We cannot recover it.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Use the App to store or transmit malicious content
• Misrepresent your qualifications or credentials using the App

SiteCreds stores what you tell it. It does not verify the authenticity of qualification cards or credentials. A card stored in SiteCreds is a photograph and self-reported data — it is not a verified digital credential. Employers and assessors should always verify cards through official channels (e.g. CSCS Smart Check).

5. Qualification Data Disclaimer

SiteCreds is a personal record-keeping tool. It is NOT:

• An official digital credential or replacement for physical qualification cards
• A verification service for qualification authenticity
• A substitute for official card-checking systems (CSCS Smart Check, NOCN checker, etc.)
• Legal proof of competence under the Building Safety Act 2022

The inclusion of a qualification card in SiteCreds does not constitute verification of that qualification. Always carry your physical cards on site as required by your employer or principal contractor.

6. Expiry Reminders

SiteCreds provides expiry reminders based on dates you enter. These reminders are a convenience feature only. We are not responsible for:

• Incorrect expiry dates entered by you
• Missed notifications due to device settings
• Any consequences of relying solely on SiteCreds for expiry tracking

You remain responsible for knowing when your qualifications expire and renewing them on time.

7. PDF Exports

PDF evidence packs generated by SiteCreds contain data you have entered. The formatting and branding is provided by SiteCreds, but the content accuracy is your responsibility. We are not liable for any consequences arising from inaccurate information in exported PDFs.

8. Intellectual Property

The SiteCreds name, logo, and app design are the property of Gridmark Technologies Ltd. You may not use our branding without written permission.

Content you create within SiteCreds (photos, descriptions, logs) remains your intellectual property.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• SiteCreds is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind
• We are not liable for any loss of data, missed expiry dates, denied site access, failed assessments, or any other damages arising from use of the App
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the App (which is £0)

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Termination

You may stop using SiteCreds at any time by deleting the App. We may discontinue the App at any time without notice, though we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
